The New York Times bestselling author somehow managed to bring back the Alex Rider feel and weave it into a complex web of legend, prophecy, and magic. <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px; text-align: left;">Welcome to the brand new segment I like to call CVC, short for Cover Versus Cover. Basically I give you two covers, a short analysis - as well as the authors name. Based on that- you'll vote for the cover you think</span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px; text-align: left;"> best. The polls will close early Friday Morning. And on Friday afternoon you'll come back to this post to see your voting results. (they'll be posted on the bottom). 4 more CVC's to go people! our <a href="http://editorsarticle.blogspot.ca/p/cvc_10.html" style="text-decoration: initial;" target="_blank">seasonal winner</a> is not so far away! This weeks contestants are The Faerie Wars and Fablehaven!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="" style="clear: both;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1) Ruler of the Realm, by <a href="http://editorsarticle.blogspot.ca/2012/09/e-interview-herbie-brennan-author-of.html" target="_blank">Herbie Brennan</a> is (quite literally) magical, Right at the center you have a glowing translucent talisman with a gold chipped border. The main focus point! If you look a little back you can see how the jewel in the talisman blends in with the outer background of the cover, only intercepted once again by the gold rimming which brings your eye to the center. Make no mistake, the blue jewel in the talisman is not for simple decoration, its hazy clarity adds a nice modern glass feel to the cover, making it appeal to you at the local book store.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2) FableHaven! (anyone noticing the Fairy theme here?) FableHaven written by Brandon Mull has a pleasant fiery chaos theme to the cover, right at the front you can see one of the Queen's royal fairies gleefully flying away from the door to the demon prison. Another thing: The gold-red color scheme is really working here on FableHaven, everything from the tip of his spear, to the bricks on top are cast in the shimmery red glow of the fire. truly explosive. </span></div>

I know this is a book blog, however when I heard the news I just <i>had</i> to report, plus comics are books too right?</span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This Wendesday afternoon Spiderman was killed in his 700'th issue, <span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;"> by </span><a href="http://herocomplex.latimes.com/2012/12/26/amazing-spider-man-dan-slott-talks-peter-parkers-fate/#/0" style="background-color: white; cursor: pointer; line-height: 21px; text-decoration: initial;" target="_blank">Dan Slott</a>. The man who writes Spiderman in the comics. According to him he needed to "<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px;">shake up the mix.” (ABC). Sha</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px;">ke up the mix? By Killing him? "hehe-haha its all fun and games! Just a comic people like to read! no problem killing Peter Parker!"-What I imagined Dan Slott Saying at the comic meeting. For those of you who are a little young Spiderman has been going on since the 1960's; over<i> 50 years</i> of comic book history, generously entertaining dozens of generations over the years. And now, he's been Killed; his mind swapped into Doctor Octopus's withering body (which soon died) while Doctor Octopus's mind is finding itself quite comfy inside Spiderman's youthful physique. All is lost as the Villain has won, He has all the power, the glory, and the credit. He (Dr. Octopus) will now accordingly take over as Spiderman, and attempt to do some <i>good, and </i></span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px;"><i>become the Superior Spiderman.</i> But what exactly does this say to our children? I, myself remember prancing about in my new Spider Man Halloween costume, and shooting webs (yarn) from my wrists with glee. I also remember many other kids jumping yonder</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px;"> saying things like: "when I grow up, I wanna be just like Spiderman!". Superheroes are not just fictional characters on a canvas, they're prime examples of the best a human can be, they're our deepest aspirations, wishes and fantasies splurted onto paper for all to see;<i> </i>Human Role Models. Which leads me back to</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px;"> my original question; What does this teach our children? You can be evil all your life, turn good at the last possible moment and attain ultimate glory? More glory than the man who's been doing good his whole life? You don't <i>have </i>to be good all the time, just when it counts? never mind Peter Parker, the good old Spiderman </span></span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px;">always doing the right thing, he got killed. Doctor Octopus, the life long villain is the one who lives, he's the winner! </span><i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px;">he</i><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px;"> gets the glory of Spider man. Is this the message you want to send to your child?</span><br /><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; text-align: right;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><span style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><a href="http://www.dragoart.com/tuts/2963/1/1/how-to-draw-doctor-octopus.htm" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="320" id="il_fi" src="http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSjGP5u1j7NcF4Lh53VO8oMZq9wFzwgQGAi5krAjgpof6-gTyzjQ_ENpIHf" style="padding-bottom: 8px; padding-right: 8px; padding-top: 8px;" width="204" /></a></span></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.dragoart.com/tuts/2963/1/1/how-to-draw-doctor-octopus.htm" target="_blank">Doctor Octopus</a></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><u>Just another quick note</u>: The main problem people are having with this is that Peter Parker was "killed" off before his time, he still had many many more crime fighting years ahead of him, he wasn't even old! That's almost never happened before. Normally a superhero <i>willingly </i>retires (always out of old age), while his/her partner or protege takes over his/her role. E.G Robin taking over for Batman. Then the former superhero lives the rest of his/her long life as a regular citizen. Thus, creating a new generation of whatever comic that was, whilst still having an appealing ending. However Dan Slott decided <i>not </i>to do that, and have a <i>different </i>ending, that coincidentally destroyed 50 years of comic history.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Doctor Octopus is expected to take over as Spiderman in the next issue, as <span style="background-color: white; line-height: 22px;">Editor Stephen Wacker said </span>"Because Doctor Octopus knows all of those things and will make decisions on what he saw Peter going through," Wacker said. "In a way, he gets the ultimate victory as he becomes a better hero." A better hero? unlikely, however </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">today I'll end this somber article with a telling qoute from a loyal Spiderman Fan: <span style="background-color: white;">"</span></span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 23px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">They've really outdone themselves in their latest attempt to completely alienate their fanbase and ruin their flagship character. This would be life if Twoface murdered Batman and became the new Batman. It feels wrong, it makes my stomach turn that the villain kills my hero, takes his body, his life, and his girl. I'm a life long fan of Spiderman, and I've endured a lot over the years. The clone saga and One more day being the most painfully horrible events. This however, has pretty much made me lose faith in Marvel as a brand. I'm done reading the comics, I am doing caring about the current situation in the Marvel universe. Marvel seems intent on destroying their characters and I refuse to take more abuse as a loyal fan."-<a href="http://io9.com/people/silver6kraid" target="_blank">Silver6Kraid</a></span></span></div>ChapterHouse-Readshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11611970252680332329noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3312198469900111421.post-60551175829846310162012-12-25T07:00:00.001-08:002013-01-02T11:13:10.783-08:00My Thoughts: Raven's Gate By Anthony Horowitz <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/swflash.cab" height="475px" id="Player_de896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250" width="600px"> <param NAME="movie" VALUE="http://ws.amazon.com/widgets/q?rt=tf_ssw&ServiceVersion=20070822&MarketPlace=US&ID=V20070822%2FUS%2Fwidgetsamazon-20%2F8003%2Fde896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250&Operation=GetDisplayTemplate"><param NAME="quality" VALUE="high"><param NAME="bgcolor" VALUE="#FFFFFF"><param NAME="allowscriptaccess" VALUE="always"><param NAME="WMODE" VALUE="transparent"><embed src="http://ws.amazon.com/widgets/q?rt=tf_ssw&ServiceVersion=20070822&MarketPlace=US&ID=V20070822%2FUS%2Fwidgetsamazon-20%2F8003%2Fde896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250&Operation=GetDisplayTemplate" id="Player_de896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" name="Player_de896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250" allowscriptaccess="always" WMODE="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" align="middle" height="475px" width="600px"></embed></OBJECT> <noscript><a HREF="http://ws.amazon.com/widgets/q?rt=tf_ssw&ServiceVersion=20070822&MarketPlace=US&ID=V20070822%2FUS%2Fwidgetsamazon-20%2F8003%2Fde896a48-749b-406c-b7e6-29fccbffc250&Operation=NoScript">Amazon.com Widgets</A></noscript><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">"<span style="background-color: white;">This chilling NYT bestseller from Anthony Horowitz, "a master of edge-of-your-seat writing" (Booklist, starred) is "an exhilarating read" (Kirkus) that "should attract a strong following" (PW)</span></span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white;">As punishment for a crime he didn't really commit, Matt was given a choice: go to jail or go live with an old woman named Mrs. Deverill in a remote town called Lesser Malling.</span><br style="background-color: white;" /><span style="background-color: white;">He should have chosen jail. </span><span style="background-color: white;">A strange and sinister plan is coming together made in Lesser Malling, with Matt at the center of it all. The Tapestry is a perfect example of what a cover artist can do with the right colors, if you look straight at the book you can see how all the shades hues and colors mix together to create this wonderful cover. Another thing to take note; notice how the cover seems painted? or hand drawn at the very least? That's the work of the cover artist, <span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;">Cory Godbey. What more could you ask for?</span></span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;">2) Onto Leviathan! I chose Leviathan for this cover war because I like how the cover artist took <i>gears </i>and turned them into something pleasant to look at. Tons of tiny, small and big gears are working together (both in the book and in the cover) to create something <i>new</i>. The best part of the cover (for me) was how the artist played around with the grey, giving everything a kind of "old rust machinery" look. Very fitting.</span></span></div><center><script charset="utf-8" src="http://static.polldaddy.com/p/6784490.js" type="text/javascript"></script><noscript><a href="http://polldaddy.com/poll/6784490/">Which cover do YOU like best?</a></noscript></center><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: xx-small;">Disclaimer: I do not own any of the book covers you see on this CVC post, However I am using them under the fair use act. I've noticed that the answer changes with every person you ask. The focus point (to me) seems to be the big book that the princess is holding in her hand. If you look closer at the book you can see that its cover is almost translucent and is glowing with a yellowish energy. This energy is what the cover artist chose to engulf the rest of the novel. Almost everything you see is outlined/tainted with a yellowish aura bringing the whole cover <i>together</i>.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2) With Nevermore you have a less of a flowy outlining and more of a hazy definition. There is no focus point anywhere on the cover. In fact; one could say there are two- the girl's face, and the sharp lettering in the middle. Unlike many other covers; these focus points don't split your attention equally, instead they force your eyes to constantly observe one focus point at a time. That trick is a commonly used tactic to attract your attention at a local bookstore shelf.</span><br /><center><script charset="utf-8" src="http://static.polldaddy.com/p/6773769.js" type="text/javascript"></script><noscript><a href="http://polldaddy.com/poll/6773769/">Which cover do YOU like best?</a></noscript></center><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: xx-small;">Disclaimer: I do not own any of the book covers you see on this CVC post, However I am using them under the fair use act. Bleak. And Two dimensional. I felt no emotional connection to any of the characters. Seriously, by the way Linda wrote about the characters you'd assume she was trying to describe some inanimate object. Almost everything in this194 page novel seemed to be happening in another universe, distant, far away, and much out of care. In other words, nothing written seemed to penetrate-it felt like I was watching an action play which was clearly fake. I normally credit the 39 Clues for being more than a middle grade book-a bit darker than that, However with these fiasco's I'm starting doubt that. I believe it hit its climax at "the dead of night" and just went downhill from there. I'm really Hoping that David Baldacci (known for his suspense thrillers) can turn this series around, because with a lackluster ending, dead characters, and a partially dead reviewer- I do <i>not</i> recommend this book.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Rating:</b> C</span><br /><b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What to expect?</span></b><br /><div style="text-align: left;"></div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Traitors</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Vespers</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Secrets</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Breakdowns</span></li></ul></div><iframe allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PFtGYC-tW0c" width="560"></iframe></div>ChapterHouse-Readshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11611970252680332329noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3312198469900111421.post-66210824582300961812012-12-09T01:00:00.001-08:002013-01-02T11:13:10.786-08:00CVC #3: Zom-B Vs Furnace<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i.imgur.com/CaH0u.png?4" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" class="border" height="116" id="info-image" src="http://i.imgur.com/CaH0u.png?4" width="400" /></a></div><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.866666793823242px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Welcome to the brand new segment I like to call CVC, short for Cover Versus Cover. Which one would you pick up in a store? Zom-B or Furnace? Do note by-the-way the visual path the artist leads you by. Blood red is easily the main theme here, it has a much more prominent role headlining the side of of the poor mans (or beings) face. So I suppose if you you google "worms" and the images you see don't scar you for life, then I assume you'll be OK with reading the first and middle chapters of Hunger. Worms aside I really do feel that hunger was kinda a pagefiller book, it wasn't really necessary in the grand scheme of things. It did establish some very key characteristics that were unnecessary series, however that could have been done in a more..er... entertaining way. Don't get me wrong though, I do like the gone series, but writing a book about food shortages and wild feral kids is a wee bit plain. A kind of rugged unclean beauty if you will. Now <i>this</i> people, is what I like to call a smear image, it doesn't really have a main focus point on the cover-but rather the whole </span><i>book</i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> is the focus point. The cover drags your eyes from spot to spot to the point where you have step back and look at the whole book, rather than a specific point. You can see this by how the artist smears the brown "paint" all around the surface.</span></li><li>The 13'th Reality provides a simple yet intriguing cover with all its swirling blue mass. As you can see at the top there's a light blue cloud creature about to strike down on the poor old man , I assume this is the centerpiece of the cover, as it naturally draws your eyes towards the mouth of the creature. If you note the the background you can see many different dynamics on the front page; you can see a light blue cloudish color, a rough dark water color, and the pale light brown backdrop with assorted rock textures. A real diversity of both color and texture.</li></span></ol><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">O.K guys, time to vote. It appears the altercation he describes happens quite allot on a yearly basis. Adults choosing Newberry awards for children. Many people would probably say that a Newberry author award is an "honor" and is meant to recognize great literary books. But what you'll be surprised to hear, is that that little gold stamp on the cover, might actually <i>Hurt</i> your book.<br /><a href="http://rickriordan.blogspot.ca/2012/12/the-newbery-blog-post-revisited.html">http://rickriordan.blogspot.ca/2012/12/the-newbery-blog-post-revisited.html</a><br /><br /><br /></div>ChapterHouse-Readshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11611970252680332329noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3312198469900111421.post-69766597685550850252012-11-29T11:49:00.002-08:002013-01-02T11:13:10.790-08:00CVC #1: Results! <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img class="border" height="116" id="info-image" src="http://i.imgur.com/CaH0u.png?4" style="text-align: left;" width="400" /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://skulduggery.wikia.com/wiki/Skulduggery_Pleasant:_The_Faceless_Ones" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="400" id="il_fi" src="http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100528015460/skulduggery/images/2/2d/Facelessones.jpg" style="padding-bottom: 8px; padding-right: 8px; padding-top: 8px;" width="261" /></a></div><a href="http://www.wereworldseries.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="400" id="il_fi" src="http://www.werewolves.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Shadow-of-the-Hawk.jpg" style="padding-bottom: 8px; padding-right: 8px; padding-top: 8px;" width="263" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 115%;">Hello guys! A very simple word that describes the whole book. Reading the excerpt, you might've rolled your eyes saying "here we go again, another one of those Cliché "parents gone missing" books", However you'd be surprised to find that gone- was anything but cliché. If I had to describe Gone in a real life sense, I`d say its basically a Dystopian X-Men novel with a pinch of "darkness". Really, that's what I'd say. Kids are gaining mutant powers, Animals are evolving, parents are nowhere to be found, and the whole town is trapped inside an invisible dome. If really you analyzed the book hard enough, you'd find it was sort of a real end of the world scenario.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Even with the allure of a good suspense novel, the one thing that I am <i>overwhelmingly </i>Thankful for is the characters. They weren't idiots! They weren't immature, or unbearably silly, and they didn't make rash and ill-though decisions. They actually used their common sense! A major breakthrough it Teens literature! </span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another thing I liked about the characters was their portrayal. Michael Grant absolutely nailed the characters is novel, Their depiction, their voices and their actions were so spot on- that I could easily swear they were kids from my class.... He really did summon his "inner child" while finishing this book. Now although many of you might think the character portrayal in Gone wasn't very flattering, it was realistic- and that made room for realistic character development. The Character development, wasn't one of those heartthrob fantasies where you have a clearly defined characters who stayed within their stereotype. The characters actually developed-changed- and strayed from their original debut. The Quinn, Harley, or Astrid you saw in the beginning, were not the same characters you saw in the end. They had evolved. (pardon the pun)</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So although you may not like the character portrayal, and might have not liked the X-men, I still suggest you read this book. A nice Gothic touch has been was added to the decorative blue background, as well as intricate imprints of animal heads. <i>These</i> animal heeads represent the 5 animal kingdoms. Now </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Notice how the silver frame pulls your eyes towards the middle? almost forcing you to look into the hawks eye? That is a very well balanced cover, it always draws your eye<i> inward</i>. </span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">On to the second one! first off I Just wanted to say that I love skulduggery pleasant. Derek Landy is one of my favorite authors, who writes incredibly good books.....That being said... his covers are amazing. A dark blue-ish Gothic print, with a black and white background. Not to mention the glaring skeleton with the magical wolverine claws. Above all really it is the rugged black and white print that draws you in. its Scary, gothic and all-out epic.</span></li></ol><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">O.K guys, time to vote. When Grandma X is put out of action by an accident that may or not have been caused by The Evil, it's up to Jack and Jaide Shield to help their father recover a lost Golden Card from Portland's strangest landmark: The Rourke Castle. Negotiating secret passages, talking parrots and animated suits of armour is all in a day's work for the trouble twisters, whose Gifts are steadily coming under control. But agents for The Evil are everywhere, including one apparently masquerading as an old and trusted friend. Soon the race is on. Whoever gets the card first will gain access to a Gift more terrible than any other - if only the twins knew what it was."-<a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Troubletwisters-3-Mystery-Garth-Nix/dp/1405258640" target="_blank">Amazon</a></span></span></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Mystery Info</span></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"></div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Publisher: </span><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Egmont Books Ltd</span></span></li><li><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Release Date: May 6 2012</span></span></li><li><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Author: Garth Nix/Sean Williams</span></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://supadu.com/images/ckfinder/178/files/bk3_sneakpreview.pdf" target="_blank">First Chapter (PDF)</a></span></li></ul><div style="text-align: left;"></div><object height="315" width="560"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gpp4ZSZwKNg?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gpp4ZSZwKNg?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></div>ChapterHouse-Readshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11611970252680332329noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3312198469900111421.post-23590861072959971802012-11-19T11:59:00.002-08:002013-01-02T11:13:10.756-08:00Blogroll/Blog Button Swap (For Bloggers) + Schedule <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghw_haUOUj4Yp35JWcqSsEWOoVQbjAWEtr4QehC5yPBUheQM_SpMx20bkt0KkleozOEcYvx53G5GNgMx_4L5YGbeSss0im13djsHGTOTqZnlJMpFKvho1SfTqnOyQ27iHkVALeeWSwTNIl/s1600/blogroll.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghw_haUOUj4Yp35JWcqSsEWOoVQbjAWEtr4QehC5yPBUheQM_SpMx20bkt0KkleozOEcYvx53G5GNgMx_4L5YGbeSss0im13djsHGTOTqZnlJMpFKvho1SfTqnOyQ27iHkVALeeWSwTNIl/s200/blogroll.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>O.K, so this is a new "thing" I'm doing, in response to the growing amount of blog buttons swaps, ad deals etc...<br />So!~ Here's how it works.<br />A blog button swap is when you (the reader/fellow blogger) and me (the blogger) exchange blog buttons. I put your blog button on my site, and you put mine on yours. Simple, effective and fair. Plus there's no money involved. A blogroll space swap is when you (the reader/fellow blogger) and me (the blogger) exchange blogroll space. You put me up on your blogroll, and I'll put you up on my blogroll. Its Simpler less sidebar-consuming alternative.<br />That should be good! If you want to participate, just leave a comment!<br />Note: My blogroll and adspace area is on the lower part of my sidebar<br />**Edit**<br />Recently my blog has gone under some malware issues, and unfortunately my blogroll has been wiped clean. So if you were on my blogroll, and aren't now- please give me a shout out in the comments section.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Blogging Shchedule</b></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Sunday: CVC</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Tuesday: Review</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thursday: CVC</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Saturday: News</span></div><div style="text-align: left;">You can expect the following posts to arrange in this manner. </div><div style="text-align: left;">Note: CVC is a new segment I'll be doing- its short for Cover VS Cover! And they must escape. An all-consuming void has opened up and is unleashing monsters throughout the Realities.
